Phillippe “INDI” de Ridder : Joined as Coach of Kingfisher East Bengal in the month of November 2009. He holds an UEFA ‘B’ Coaching License. Ridder had also coached Kingfisher East Bengal in 2005-06 season and under him the club became the then National Football League runners-up and Super Cup champions. Ridder played professional football in Belgum for RWDM (FC Brussels) and also represented his country from U-12 to U-20. He is a strong believer of offensive football and created the CFT ( Creative Football Training ), based on the latest training methods and styles all around the world.
Tushar Rakshit : Joined as Assistant Coach of Kingfisher East Bengal in the month of August 2009. He is an ex-India International. He is also an ex-East Bengal player and has played for the club continuously for fourteen seasons.
Goalkeeper Coach
Atanu Bhattacharya : Joined as Goalkeeper Coach of Kingfisher East Bengal in the month of November 2009. He has also coached India National team as the Goalkeeper coach. He is an ex-India International and also an ex-East Bengal player. He has also represented Asian All-Star XI.
Team Doctor
Dr. S R Dasgupta : He
is the Assistant General Secretary of East Bengal Club and became
the official team doctor in 1998. He is a specialist Orthopedic
Surgeon and a Sports Medicine Specialist. When sports medicine
entered India in the late 70s he was involved as a Senior Research
Fellow in Bio-Engineering and Sports Medicine at the University
of Medicine, Calcutta.
He is also the
Chief of the Sports Medicine Unit at Indian Football Association.
He is a recipient of the Scoit International Award in the year
1984 for his work in Bio-Engineering and Sports Medicine.
Physiotherapist
Rajesh Basak: Is
certified physiotherapist from Central Calcutta Medical Training
Centre. Joined KEB in the year 2000-01 and functions figuratively
as the right arm to Dr S R Dasgupta in keeping the boys fit
and running.
Team Manager
Swapan Ball : A qualified
civil engineer, has dedicated his life to the club. Has been
with the East Bengal Club administration since 1966 as a player
of junior football team upto 1970. In 1971 He was made 'In Charge'
of the EB Junior Football Team by the then Secretary Dr Nripen
Das. He came very close to Late Dipak (Paltu) Das, who was the
main architect of the present East Bengal Club.
In 1984 he became
the Cricket Secretary. He finally came to be the KEB Football
Team Manager when the KEB board recommended his name in 1998
and it was duly approved by the Chairman Dr V Mallya. Mr. Ball
is the person in charge of managing all the requirements of
the squad management, the players and coordinating between the
President, Secretary and the rest of the staff with regard to
the KEB Football Team.
